		<description>Yes, seeing ads from one search carry over to subsequent searches in the same session appears to be related to Google&#039;s expanded broad match capability. In a Search Query report, you&#039;ll see rows whose match type is labeled &#039;Broad (Session-Based).

However, carryover ads aren&#039;t the only possible kind of showstoppers. Ads with poor punctuation/grammar/spelling (like the voguesdepot.com ad in the first image) or poor Dynamic Keyword Insertion (like the salvemoslanacion.com ad) might also cause searchers to stop looking at ads.

By my estimates, it probably doesn&#039;t take many showstopper ads of any kind to cause a significant impact on traffic, especially in the lower ad positions.</description>

I blame broad match... It goes against what Google stands for: good, clean results.
It only serves them to increase bids on generic searches like the ones in your examples.</description>

The pollution effect is also strong in the UK - search for a &#039;Plumber in Bristol&#039; and then &#039;shoe shop Bristol&#039; and the top slots are still Plumber-related. Poor user experience, and punishing for those campaigns that get pushed down the page.</description>
