Why did it take so long to 'fess up'? Why didn't they become active in the dialogue and try to manage what was happening to 150k 'clients'? Fixing the problem isn't the only solution these days. Communication, dialogue, hearing, listening all go a long way. They didn't have to have an answer - merely saying they were aware that there was a problem and were working toward a solution probably would have sufficed. Sometimes silence is not golden....
